Departure point:
First take the bus to Meran and from there, the Partschins line to Töll. The Marling trail starts directly from Töll.

Description:
Running practically level along the irrigation canal, this route is particularly good for families. At 12km, the Marling irrigation channel is the longest of its kind in South Tyrol; from its starting point in Töll (Partschins), it leads above the villages of Forst, Marling and Tscherms, finishing up in Oberlana.

Tip:
Winding its way over rocky land, under bridges and through tunnels, the Marling irrigation trail in itself is one of the most impressive of its kind. There are also numerous hostelries along the trail to stop off for refreshments.
